Founder of Montpellier Freetour and guide in english, spanish and french

Hi everyone! My name is Philippe, 31 yo, french happy guide and founder of Montpellier Freetour.

Like you, I love to discover news places and meet new friends.

Of course, with the help of local people it is often easier. That’s why a freetour is always a good oportunity to discover both in the same time.

Otherwise, I love my city too.

As a lot of people, I went in Montpellier for the university. That was in 2006. Such a long time now.  And like most of them I fell in love of this incredible town.

Now it’s time to share this emotion with you and Montpellier Freetour is the best way for that.

This is the reason why I founded the first independent free walking tour here.

I wish you will like it and love this city too.

My name is Ángela, I am 32 years old and I am Spanish, from Santiago de Compostela. After finishing my doctorate and having spent my whole life in the same city I decided it was time to leave the comfort zone and embark on a new adventure abroad.

By accident, I ended up in Montpellier and although I have lived here for a short time, this city has made me not want to buy a return ticket.

I really enjoy traveling, but it was not always like this, so since I found out it, I haven’t missed any opportunity. I like to meet people and be in touch with new cultures, because I think this helps us to be more open-minded and tolerant of the world around us, making us better people.

Freetours are a great idea to know the cities with local people and I always enjoy doing them when I am visiting. Now it’s my turn…Let’s discover this wonderful city together!

A long time ago, I grew up in the absurd and imaginary Kingdom of Belgium.
This miraculous world of knights and dragons and Manneken Pis made me want to become the jester eating frites and drinking beer, mocking the lord, secretly conjuring a smile on the face of the beautiful yet sad lady.

My name is Wim, I’m a pilgrim, travelling the world on my steel steed, now living in the land of wine and honey.
My plan is coming together to never grow up and tell stories about nice and weird and fuzzy and crazy creatures wearing hats or crowns or berets doing things.

Let me guide you through the magical land of Montpelhièr. I might show you where the gargouille dragon sleeps it’s eternal sleep.
But only if you promise not to wake it…

Hello, My name is Marko.
I’m originally from Kotor, a city in a small country called Montenegro.
I came to Montpellier to study and to build a solid ground professionally and personally.
I’ve been a dedicated member of the tourism industry for half a decade. I have a degree of Nautical technician achieved on Maritime School, but most recently I was working on both small ( hostels) and high volume hotels.

Passionate by history and being a traveller myself, I guarantee you the best time in Montpellier. I also enjoy playing basketball, good music and good foud. (You can find tones of it in France and I will be glad to share it with you)
